About Me

I am a disabled Canadian adult who suffers from an invisible disability which prevents me from being able to work full time or live a relatively normal life.

I have suffered from Crohn’s Disease for 32 years and was able to work full time until 2003 when the accumulated effects of the disease, and its treatments, left me with multiple conditions requiring even more treatment.

I do not belong to any political party and although my beliefs run moderately to the left of centre I find almost all of the parties and their leaders lacking in integrity, honour and trustworthiness.

I write about things I feel strongly about. The things that tick me off enough are usually political but I’m not shy about venting on other topics.

About the picture
Toll Booth

In the late 1800’s Davenport road in Toronto was a toll road. The pictured toll booth was located on Davenport. My great great grandfather was the guy who collected the tolls from 1869 until about 1889 at this booth.
